DESCRIPTION:Awesome music\, excellent atmosphere\, and tasty food and drinks! \nJoin us for a FREE Rockin’ celebration to honor our heroes – First Responders\, Active Military\, Veterans and Gold Star families. \nBring your friends\, family\, and neighbors and join us for an afternoon of high-energy music and celebration as we come together to thank those who serve and protect us. \nRockin’ 4 Heroes is unique: there is no other public event that honors all 4 of these hero groups in one setting. It pulls communities together in a meaningful and fun public display of gratitude and respect. \nThere is NO CHARGE for admission\, but there are many opportunities to support the event and our heroes through corporate sponsorships\, private donations\, raffle ticket purchases\, and beer and wine purchases. Plus\, you can support our local businesses by enjoying the wide variety of food options available from participating Food Trucks. \nDance…eat…drink…mingle…and show your appreciation to our heroes! \nGates open 12:30 PM – Music starts at 1:00 PM\nFeaturing the Lexington Lab Band (Kentucky musicians covering classic rock\, pop and country)\nOpening Music by the Mark Miller Band (Country musicians from Tucson\, AZ) \nAlso\, check out the many static displays by our Hero groups\, the exciting auction items available to bid on\, and the cool Rockin’ 4 Heroes merchandise available for purchase this year! Pick up some 50/50 tickets and win CASH in our 50/50 Raffle. \nRockin’ 4 Heroes features open lawn seating\, so bring your own chair or blanket and enjoy a beautiful fall afternoon in the park.
