Bring the whole troop and make some unforgettable memories at this Tucson holiday tradition. \nAs you stroll through the Zoo\, beautifully decorated\, surround yourself in an enchanting wonderland of festive lights\, light shows\, and displays with a flurry of heartwarming activities around every corner.  New this year is a giant\, illuminated Gingerbread house and the return of a towering 35-foot showcase tree and decorative scenes– perfect for your holiday photos. \nRevel in falling snow in the Arctic Zone\, enjoy live entertainment each evening sure to put you in the holiday spirit\, and be sure to visit with jolly St. Nick who will be on hand to hear wishes through December 23.  Savor a cup of hot cocoa from the Flamingo Grill or carts around the Zoo as you experience a flurry of festivities.  There is traditional cocoa and also cocoa with “Santa’s Spirits” for the adults. \nNote: During evening events most animals will be sleeping and not visible to the public.  \nTickets\n$14 Adults (ages 15-61)\n$12 Seniors (ages 62+)\n$9 Children (ages 2-14)\nFree for children under 2\nZoo Members receive $2 off admission Tuesdays – Sundays. \nBulk ticket rates are available for groups of 30 or more.  Inquire about bulk tickets! \nGive Back and Get a Discount:\nBring a donation of 2 cans of food for the Community Food Bank (check out this list of their most needed items)\, a dog or cat toy or food for adoptable pets or a new unwrapped toy for La Frontera (for children aged 2-12) or old and non-functioning holiday lights to recycle and receive $1 off admission. DESCRIPTION:There’s ‘snow place like Reid Park Zoo for the holidays!\nDecember 5– 23\nEncore Nights: December 26 – 30 and January 2 – 5\nLet it Glow! This year’s ZooLights: Holiday Magic event\, presented by Tucson Electric Power\, is bigger and brighter than ever with over a million dazzling lights. Bring the whole troop and make some unforgettable memories at this Tucson holiday tradition. \nAs you stroll through the Zoo\, beautifully decorated\, surround yourself in an enchanting wonderland of festive lights\, light shows\, and displays with a flurry of heartwarming activities around every corner.  New this year is a giant\, illuminated Gingerbread house and the return of a towering 35-foot showcase tree and decorative scenes– perfect for your holiday photos. \nRevel in falling snow in the Arctic Zone\, enjoy live entertainment each evening sure to put you in the holiday spirit\, and be sure to visit with jolly St. Nick who will be on hand to hear wishes through December 23.  Savor a cup of hot cocoa from the Flamingo Grill or carts around the Zoo as you experience a flurry of festivities.  There is traditional cocoa and also cocoa with “Santa’s Spirits” for the adults. \nNote: During evening events most animals will be sleeping and not visible to the public.  \nTickets\n$14 Adults (ages 15-61)\n$12 Seniors (ages 62+)\n$9 Children (ages 2-14)\nFree for children under 2\nZoo Members receive $2 off admission Tuesdays – Sundays. \nBulk ticket rates are available for groups of 30 or more.  Inquire about bulk tickets! \nGive Back and Get a Discount:\nBring a donation of 2 cans of food for the Community Food Bank (check out this list of their most needed items)\, a dog or cat toy or food for adoptable pets or a new unwrapped toy for La Frontera (for children aged 2-12) or old and non-functioning holiday lights to recycle and receive $1 off admission. Moreover\, the Festival is one the most important events for the Community Food Bank in Tucson. In 2023\, $31\,222 and 37\,800 pounds of food were donated to the Food Bank through the Festival. \nCome enjoy the lights and help us support our community by bringing a donation for the foodbank with you. \nDates:\nDecember 14-28\, 2024\n6:00–10:00 pm every night \nAlternatives to Walking\nWalk Through Nights Only. There are NO drive-thru nights for 2024.\nIn addition to walking through\, you can tour the lights by Winterhaven Hayrides\, Winterhaven Trolley Tours (ADA accessible)\, or Arizona Party Bikes (pedal-powered group bike). (Sponsored by Tucson Electric Power Company.) \n75th Annual Festival of Lights \nThis year is our Diamond Anniversary\, the 75th year of the Winterhaven Festival of Lights – one of the longest running festivals of its kind in the country. \nThe Festival of Lights celebrates the holiday season in Tucson and is visited by hundreds of thousands of people from all over southern Arizona. Moreover\, the Festival is one the most important events for the Community Food Bank in Tucson. In 2023\, $31\,222 and 37\,800 pounds of food were donated to the Food Bank through the Festival. \nCome enjoy the lights and help us support our community by bringing a donation for the foodbank with you. \nDates:\nDecember 14-28\, 2024\n6:00–10:00 pm every night \nAlternatives to Walking\nWalk Through Nights Only. There are NO drive-thru nights for 2024.\nIn addition to walking through\, you can tour the lights by Winterhaven Hayrides\, Winterhaven Trolley Tours (ADA accessible)\, or Arizona Party Bikes (pedal-powered group bike). Advanced reservations are recommended. \n\nADA Access\nCommunity members with disabilities can enjoy the Festival of Lights in the following ways: \n\n\n\nTrolley – ADA compliant with wheelchair lifts.\nHayrides – Ramps are available.\nIndividuals with wheelchairs or walkers can be dropped off at the entrances of Tucson Blvd\, or Prince to wait for their parties.\nMotorized mobility scooters are welcome.\n\n\nFree\, but please donate:\nThe Festival is free to attend\, but please donate.\nWe ask everyone to bring a donation of food or money for the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona.
