DESCRIPTION:If you are in Tucson during the 4th Avenue Street Fair\, you have to check it out. It’s a fun street festival with lots of arts\, crafts\, unique gifts and fun street festival food vendors. Even if you aren’t in the mood to shop\, this is a fun people watching event with tasty food! \nThis 51-year-old\, family-friendly tradition brings over 600\,000 people to the heart of the Old Pueblo every year. The Fair hosts artists from around the world\, decadent food\, local entertainment and a lot of fun! The Fair is biannual\, taking full advantage of our wonderful Sonoran Desert climate\, with one in the Winter and the other in Spring. \nThe Fair is produced by the North Fourth Avenue Merchants Association\, Inc.\, a local nonprofit. The funds are used to support the Avenue’s infrastructure\, invest in local neighborhoods and other nonprofits\, and to create other free community events throughout the year on Historic Forth Avenue. \nFree Shuttle Service is provided from the Pennington Street Garage and the Tyndal Avenue Garage by VIP Taxi. Phoenix Center for the Arts is proud to present the ninth annual event\, voted Best of Phoenix 2020 Best Arts Festival by Phoenix New Times\, featuring more than 150 art vendors and cultural organizations. It’s a perfect time to connect with the local art community and celebrate the season. \nThe festival features a full lineup of live music and performances from some of the best local bands in town. The Entertainment Pavilion includes art demonstrations\, circus performances\, dance ensembles\, spoken word poets\, choral groups\, and more! \nIt wouldn’t be an arts festival without interactive arts activities for both adults and kids. The Phoenix Mural Project\, a hands-on community art project is a signature component of the Festival\, allowing community members to paint and create alongside professional local artists.
