DESCRIPTION:First Thursday of every month 5–8 p.m.\nPay-What-You-Wish Admission \n\n\nActivities | Experiences | Performances | Community Partners | Food Vendors\nOn the first Thursday of every month the Tucson Museum of Art and Historic Block offers extended hours and pay-what-you-wish admission from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. First Thursday is designed to complement and enhance TMA’s exhibitions and permanent collection while reflecting the diversity of the community\, making art accessible to all. With the goal of expanding audiences\, programs encourage community members to “come for the activities and experiences but stay for the art.” Programs include guest artists\, live music\, performances\, art-making\, unique opportunities to explore the galleries\, and a cash bar serving beer and wine. Each evening also features partnerships with local organizations including support for emerging and established food vendors throughout Arizona to offer pop-ups and encourage guests to support local business and foodie creatives. \nFirst Thursday is presented by an anonymous donor. This program was funded in part by Arts Foundation for Tucson and Southern Arizona with funding from The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 through the City of Tucson.

DESCRIPTION:This year’s Festival will be returning to the Coconino Center for the Arts and the Pioneer Museum on June 14th and 15th\, 2025. The Flagstaff Folk Festival is an exciting mix of all types of folk and acoustic music\, featuring both small and large groups on 5 stages. Every year brings a wide diversity of music and genres. This is not strictly a “bluegrass” or “old-time” event. There will be something for everyone! \nIn addition to live music\, there will be 2 workshop areas with something interesting for both musicians and festival-goers alike. There will also be a Jam Area where you are welcome to play\, sing along\, or just hang out and listen. \nThe Festival is volunteer-run and a long-standing Flagstaff community event. We strive to keep our ticket prices low so that everyone can enjoy the Festival. Mark your calendars now for 2 days of great live music. We look forward to seeing you this year! \nIf you are a performer and are interested in participating in this year’s Festival\, our application process is live on our website. Information on volunteer opportunities can also be found on the website. \nThe festival is produced by The Flagstaff Friends of Traditional Music in partnership with the The Coconino Center for the Arts and the Pioneer Museum. \nAdmission: $15\nChildren 15 and under are free \n
