Gadsden-Pacific Division Toy Train Operating Museum – open house

April 28 at 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

$5

The GADSDEN-PACIFIC TOY TRAIN OPERATING MUSEUM is a charitable, not-for-profit 501 (C) (3) corporation dedicated to the hobby of model railroading by providing the public with an interactive museum of operating toy train layouts, displays and exhibits.

Today’s museum started as a club of twenty-five individuals in 1980 and has grown steadily over the years to over 130 members. Although we first opened our doors to the public in 1988 from within the Foothills Mall, we moved in 1998 to our current location. The museum has grown to include G gauge, standard gauge, S gauge, HO gauge, N gauge and Z gauge operational layouts throughout the display area. Visitors may operate the trains and accessories throughout the museum by pushing buttons located with the displays, all at tabletop level to give visitors a better view of all trains.

We even have model trains running outdoors, a real caboose that you can walk through, and a 7.5″ gauge ride-on train (which runs if the weather is ok.)

Hours
We are open every Sunday afternoon from 1:00 to 4:00 September through May. We will be closed on Easter Sunday, (plus Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and/or New Year’s Day if they fall on a Sunday) and throughout June, July and August.

Admission is $5.00, but as many as 6 of your crew can get in for a total of $10.00!
