Cyclovia Tucson is an Open Streets event which temporarily closes streets to cars and other motorized vehicles to allow for walking, biking, playing, and hanging out. It it like a big car-free block party. Walk, bike, roll, scoot. During Cyclovia, the streets are yours!
The Cyclovia Tucson: Downtown—South Tucson route has been activated seven times since 2011. This October it will once again pass through some of Tucson’s oldest neighborhoods and connect with two parks (Armory Park, Santa Rosa Park), three schools (Mission View Elementary, Ochoa PreK-8, Drachman Montessori), Children’s Museum Tucson, Arizona Theatre Company, and so much more. Living Streets Alliance is excited to uplift the varied histories along the route and the unique ways that each neighborhood shapes the event.
Local food trucks and vendors provide the fuel for Cyclovia participants. You’ll find a diversity of tasty bites all along the route.
