El Tour de Tucson is the largest bicycle race in the United States, one of the largest rides in the country and Arizona’s longest-running bicycle event. Always held on the Saturday before Thanksgiving, it attracts over 7,500 cyclists from across the country.
El Tour is a charity event and has raised over $100 million for multiple charitable agencies. El Tour has become known as “the most prestigious bicycling event for cyclists of all ages and abilities.”
There are four rides on Tucson’s scenic roadways to choose from, ranging from 102, to 32 miles. (Registration ranges from $40-$165+) If that sounds too far, you can still participate in one of the three shorter Fun Ride courses (3 and 1 mile) for only $15.
All Rides/Routes start and finish at the Tucson Convention Center and the surrounding area.
The Casino del Sol Expo & Fiesta will be at the newly renovated Tucson Convention Center exhibition hall and surrounding grounds. Most of the activities including the live music, food trucks, beer garden and some exhibitors will be outdoors!
