Desert Museum: Cool Summer Nights: World Oceans Night

Beat the heat and enjoy the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum when it’s cooler this summer. The Desert Museum will stay open until 9pm every Saturday from June 10-August 26 for their Cool Summer Nights events! Each week will have a different theme with live animal encounters, presentations and activities. Bring your flashlight and explore, enjoy dinner, experience a live animal encounter, let the kids scamper in Packrat Playhouse(6-9pm), feel the touch of a stingray, or participate in special nightly activities.

Please note the following closing times:

• Gardens and aviaries will close at 6:45 p.m.
• Desert Loop Trail will close at 7:00 p.m.
• Stingray Touch Exhibit (additional cost of $2/member or $3/non-member). Open from 6-8:30 p.m.
• The Mountain House Gift Shop (near the entrance) is open until 9:00 p.m.
• The Ironwood Gift Shop (near the restaurant complex) is open until 8:30 p.m.
• The Ocotillo Café is open from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
• The Ironwood Terraces Restaurant is open throughout the day until 8:00 p.m.
• Phoebé’s Coffee Bar is open throughout the day until 9:00 p.m.
